We went down to a "carpet building" party at someone's place in central Antigua. I got to climb the roof and took this great pic.

My host's friend runs a coffee farm just outside of Antigua (they sell to Whole Foods Market!). Here's a shot looking toward their house, with a HUGE dog as added bonus.

The Mercado is an absolutely huge maze-like market you can get completely lost in. This is right at the edge (and doesn't actually really show the market itself, but oh well)

Semana Santa at the Town Square    Antigua, Guatemala

So Guatemala's biggest festival is Semana Santa, the Easter celebration that takes place right here in Antigua. Apparently today was just a warm up and the real stuff has yet to begin. Anyway, here's a cool warmup picture taken at the town square.
