In mid-December 2005, Eug and I went to Las Vegas for no particular reason. Our rough plan was to dart in, eat through every buffet we could find, then dart back home. We also took in a show (Ka, by Cirque du Soleil) and stayed at a cool hotel (Paris). All in all it was a quick, active, tiring, and fun weekend. Vegas is good for that.
