The 2006 Blizzard, NYC
    Date:    Sunday, February 12, 2006
Synopsis: After a January that felt more like a June, winter finally decided to reassert itself in the first major snowfall of the season. It started lightly on Saturday, but by the time we woke up on Sunday we were blanketed in two and a half feet of pure white snow. People were digging out their buried cars. Plowers were frantically trying to clear up the streets. EVERYONE was out walking, sledding, skiing, sliding, and generally having fun in the white winter playland our city had temporarily become. It was wonderful. The following pictures document Eug's and my romp around the neighborhood that day.
