Las Vegas
	Date:		late August, 2000
	Synopsis:		This was my first trip to Vegas. My (and JD's) friend Andy Kukes came out to CA just to hang out, I suppose. Originally, all three of us were going to go to Vegas for the weekend, but JD had to stay behind since he had a lot of work to do at iPal. So Andy and I went off by ourselves, driving for six hours into the California desert, into NV, and eventually into the valet pickup area at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas. We spent a weekend there, and on the way back we randomly stopped in the ghost town of Calico, CA. It's just a tourist attraction now, although there was no one else there when we went (there were maybe two other groups of people).
